Following a major sales increase of its retail returnable transit packaging (RTP) range, Sheffield’s Loadhog Limited has appointed another sales manager to reinforce the continuing growth of this vital area of the company’s business. Matthew Payne, 29, has joined the retail sales team after Loadhog enjoyed a 30 per cent sales increase on 2014, largely due to the launch of the company’s Attached Lid Container.
Northampton-born Matthew, who spent the last four years as a sales manager covering Europe, the Middle East and Africa for an adhesive tape manufacturer, is now focussed on expansion within the retail sector for the entire Loadhog RTP range across the UK. On his appointment Matthew said: “I aim to exploit further the promising potential within the retail sector for the Loadhog RTP range. This is an exciting prospect and I look forward to delivering growth and make the company the leader across the sector for all RTP products.”
Launched last year the Attached Lid Container has a unique nested lid which allows for up to 10 per cent greater vehicle fill on empties. The Loadhog Pally/Lid system is a direct delivery merchandising unit in grocery retail and an efficient alternative to rollcages. The HogBox, with its large capacity, is ideal for use by non-food retailers and the transit solution of choice for Dunelm.
