Loadhog, the Sheffield-born transit packaging innovator, has responded in kind to a request from one of its Europe based staff wanting to improve the life of a young girl born with a debilitating illness.
Loadhog, a member of the employee-owned Gripple family, provided 800 Attached Lid Containers which were sold to staff, family and friends in the UK, Loadhog Europe and Gripple Europe. More than €5,000 was raised to purchase a special wheelchair for nine-year-old Laura who lives in Paris and has muscular dystrophy.
Loadhog has a growing team promoting the company’s wide range of products across Europe. The fundraising idea came from Loadhog’s Boris Berghmans when he heard of Laura’s plight from another Loadhog staff member, Gwladys Dominiak.
Many UK and Europe-based staff within the Gripple family, all represented in Gripple’s private company, GLIDE (Growth Led Innovation Driven Employee), willingly supported this important fundraising effort.
Boris said: “I am thrilled that my idea has been realised and that Laura has a special wheelchair which will transform her life into as normal as possible. I am grateful to the charity teams in Loadhog UK, Loadhog Europe and Gripple Europe for their great help and effort.”
The Attached Lid Containers supplied in this effort for Laura are just one supply chain solution manufactured by Loadhog. For more information click here >>
