Sales Manager - South Germany, Austria & Switzerland

Sales Managers, Sales Executives, are you looking for an opportunity to develop your sales career with an International UK Manufacturer?  Our Yorkshire based, Queens Award winning client company Loadhog Ltd. (, design and manufacture a range of innovative and patented products aimed at providing solutions in the returnable packaging sector. The current portfolio of four main product groups, are sold into industries including automotive, retail, postal, waste management as well as through various distribution channels . The company has a culture of entrepreneurship and strong team spirit with all employees owning shares in the business.

The Role

The company now has a fantastic career opportunity for an ambitious, hands-on Bi-lingual Sales Manager to join the team selling into the automotive and retail sector as well as managing and developing the current network of distributors within this region. Rarely do such varied positions become available for individuals who thrive in a competitive sales environment and know how to get the best and the most from their blue chip customers. The truly exceptional candidate will possess drive, self-motivation and sound business acumen. This role would suit a tenacious sales professional with at least 2 years field sales experience and a fluency in German, with a good command of English and French would be a bonus.

You will have experience of selling products, preferably into the materials handling, logistics or RTP sectors, and you should be looking for a career with a progressive, innovative manufacturer.

Along with developing new business in the region you will take over the account management of some existing clients; high profile retail chains, reporting to and liaising closely with the Central European Sales Manager, sales support and production teams. The role requires proven business acumen and relationship building skills and whilst full product and systems training will be given, your IT ability, written and spoken presentation skills will need to be top class.

Ideally you will live in either Germany, Austria or Switzerland, or close to the Central European Office in the France.

Initially you will spend time at the Central European office to meet the team, understand the sales process and learn about the products. To be successful, you must be prepared to travel extensively throughout the territory, therefore a full EU driving license and permanent right to work in the country you are based are essential.
