Better organisation of work
The bins we use are colour coded through the colour of the lids and this helps to visually show what status the work is at. Yellow – WIP parts or unfinished product. Blue – completed untested. Green – fully assembled and tested product.
Better use of space
By using the Loadhog Pally we have eliminated the need for pallet trucks in the production area meaning less space is needed to move material in and out.
Prevention of cross contamination
The red bins show returned products that need remedial work. This allows us to easily identify work that is in the wrong area.
Increased safety
As pallet trucks are no longer needed in the general production area, we have reduced the risks and accidents, making it a safer environment for our employees.
