Loadhog Foundation is Headline Sponsor for Pride of Yorkshire Project!

A spectacular pride of lions will take over South Yorkshire in 2026 as part of Pride of Yorkshire – a major public art trail celebrating 150 years of Sheffield Children’s and raising vital funds to support the hospital’s next chapter of life-changing care.

Building on the success of Bears of Sheffield, the new trail will feature 150 large lion and lioness sculptures, alongside 150 smaller lion cubs, creating a breathtaking free art exhibition that brings together businesses, artists, schools, and the public. Each lion will tell a unique story, with stunning designs created by professional artists and community groups, before being auctioned to raise further funds for Sheffield Children’s.

A once-in-a-generation celebration for Yorkshire

This ambitious initiative will see sculptures positioned across Barnsley, Doncaster, Rotherham and Sheffield bringing communities together and inspiring thousands of visitors to explore the region.
