Making a Difference Together: Community Impact Highlights
11th February 2026
Over the past year, our teams have come together to make a meaningful difference across our local communities and beyond. Through charitable donations, volunteering, fundraising challenges and sponsorships, our collective efforts have supported a wide range of causes focused on wellbeing, inclusion, education, and the environment.
Our commitment to social impact began with practical product donations and sponsorships. Apollo totes were donated to organisations including Roundabout, Andy’s Man Club and Grimm & Co, supporting vital community services. We also sponsored Quest Taekwondo, funding new site signage to increase their visibility while providing annual support, including the delivery of self‑defence classes to Loadhog employees. Donations of sensory items were made to Sheffield Children’s Centre, while £100 was raised through a walk from Endcliffe Park to Grindleford in support of knife crime prevention initiatives.
Colleagues took part in numerous fundraising challenges throughout the year. Highlights included raising £575 for Young Epilepsy on Purple Day, £500 for the Terrence Higgins Trust via the London Marathon, and supporting a Kilimanjaro Trek fundraiser. Additional donations supported the Stroke Association, Different Strokes, and mental health charities CALM and Papyrus.
Volunteering also played a key role in our impact. Teams supported Pitsmoor Adventure Playground, Fairplay Chesterfield and Riverlution Stewardship Company, helping to clear riverbeds, remove invasive plants and improve outdoor spaces for community use. The Foundation’s efforts also extended overseas as employees also took part in Fight Hunger 5K events to support food banks in the US.
We’re especially proud to have announced our headline sponsorship of the Pride of Yorkshire 2026, partnering with Sheffield Children’s Hospital Charity. The project will feature 150 lion sculptures across South Yorkshire, raising both awareness and vital funds. Further support for Sheffield Children’s Hospital included the installation of an XL snowflake, which shone brightly on the hospital building.
Employee‑led initiatives continued to thrive, from bake sales and charity abseils to quiz nights, curling events, casino nights and Pink October activities. Together, these efforts raised vital funds and in total over £100,000 was donated in 2025 for local charities and good causes. We have strengthened our commitment to giving back, proving that when we work together, we truly can make a lasting impact.
