Loadhog Foundation Champions Local Talent with Quest Taekwondo Sponsorship

We’re excited to share that the Loadhog Foundation is now proudly sponsoring Quest Taekwondo with an annual contribution to support their fantastic work in the community. The partnership highlights commitment to nurturing community initiatives that promote discipline, resilience, and personal growth.
If you haven’t heard of Quest yet, they’re not just any martial arts club. The local community club aims to develop health fitness and mental well-being through the martial art of Taekwondo and related activities.
Founded by Master Mike McKenzie—a 7th Dan black belt with over 45 years of experience (including a key role in the London 2012 Olympic Games!)—Quest is all about more than just kicks and belts. Their mission? To educate, entertain, and inspire. They’re helping people of all ages build confidence, discipline, and resilience through Taekwondo, and they’re doing it with heart.
That’s exactly the kind of energy we love at Loadhog.
Through the Loadhog Foundation, which we set up in 2021, we dedicate 1% of our budgeted pre-tax profits to supporting meaningful causes—whether that’s through donations, volunteering, or partnerships like this one. Our goal is simple: to give back to communities, support great people, and make a positive difference wherever we can.
As part of the partnership, Loadhog employees have had the opportunity to participate in self-defence classes. These sessions have not only promoted physical well-being and personal safety but have also increased engagement amongst employees, who appreciate the chance to develop valuable life skills in a supportive environment.
Mike McKenzie, said: “The sponsorship received from Loadhog as well as our on site visits have been amazing. New signage was funded by the sponsorship. This has helped increase our local profile and visibility. Even more important is the positive sharing of values and learning which has helped improve the management and future development at Quest.”
