The mobility of the Pally 86 enables store assistants to replenish shelves directly from the transport unit, eliminating unnecessary handling in the backroom. This has reduced shelf replenishment time by 7,560 hours annually, allowing employees to spend more time assisting customers.

The combination of the Pally 86 & Lid removes the need for stretch wrap during transport. As a result, DM eliminates 6.96 tonnes of stretch film each year, saving €23,647 in packaging costs while reducing CO2 emissions by 17.99 tonnes.

Removing the need to fold totes, wrap pallets and transfer products between different handling equipment has streamlined daily operations. Packing activities alone have been reduced by 2,091 working hours during the last 12 months.

The Pally System was integrated into DM’s existing logistics operation without requiring any warehouse modifications or additional implementation costs. As the distribution centre already operated with Half-Euro pallet dimensions, the transition was fast, straightforward and immediately delivered operational benefits.
